This Pazhamudircholai Lord Murugan is praised in old Tamil literature such as Silappathikaram, Ettuthogai, Patthupattu etc. The great Tamil poet and saint Avvaiyar had been tested and blessed by Lord Murga here. Murugan is the parihara for all Rahu doshas. Offer worship at this ancient shrine of Lord Murugan and receive his divine grace in abundance.
